The Department of Physics welcomes Dr. Benjamin Stadtmüller and Dr. Ioachim Pupeza as new professors!

On Thursday, 26.10.2023, and Tuesday, 31.10.2023, Dr. Benjamin Stadtmüller and Dr. Ioachim Pupeza received their certificates of appointment from the hands of the Co-President of RPTU, Prof. Dr. Arnd Poetzsch-Heffter.

The two were appointed W3 Professors of Experimental Physics. Mr. Stadtmüller is researching "Ultrafast phenomena at interfaces", Mr. Pupeza in the field of "Optical quantum metrology". Their appointment will undoubtedly help to further sharpen our departmental profile and offer our students even more opportunities.
