Reaccreditation of the B.Sc./M.Sc. Physics degree programs

The B.Sc. and M.Sc. Physics degree programs were successfully reaccredited in the summer semester 2020. Since the winter semester 2020 / 2021, there have therefore been changes to the curricula for the department's Bachelor's, Master's and Diploma degree programs.

The affected degree programs are

Physics

Biophysics

Physics Teacher Training

TechnoPhysics

n order to avoid a delay in your study progress, please note the information below on the changed rotation of courses. The current module handbooks and study plans can be found at: https://modhb.uni-kl.de/mhb/FB-PHY/cos/

If you are studying outside of the regular study plan, you are recommended to consult a student advisor. If you have any questions, please contact studienmanagement(at)physik.uni-kl.de.

FAQ

B.Sc. Physics

The transfer rule for the modules of the Fundamentals of Mathematics contains a "qualifizierter Übungsschein". This corresponds to the previous study and examination prerequisite according to the current module handbook. The "qualifizierter Übungsschein" is defined there as follows: "through active participation in the exercises, successful completion of homework and passing the final exam for the exercises (intermediate exam in the middle and final exam approx. two weeks after the end of the lecture period)". This means that mere participation in the exercises is not sufficient. The written exam is required.
