The BMBF is funding the QuanTUK project to design a part-time distance learning course leading to a master's degree in quantum technologies with more than 2 million euros for three years. Colleagues from the departments of electrical engineering and information technology, computer science, mathematics, and physics, as well as the Fraunhofer ITWM and the DFKI, are working together on new teaching content and formats to enable optimized distance learning at the Distant and Independent Studies Center (DISC) of the TU Kaiserslautern. The project is led by Prof. Widera.
