On this year’s Girls Day on October 1st, female high-school pupils from all over Rhineland-Palatinate visited TU Kaiserslautern campus to experience science and technology at our university. Artur Widera gave a talk on “ultra-cool quantum worlds”, introducing some of the fascinating effects of quantum physics at ultralow temperatures. The participants could trace signals of quantum physics in various systems experimentally. We hope that everybody had fun visiting us and maybe we see some of you as future students at TU Kaiserslautern.
