Please, inform yourself in short intervals on this web page, whether changes have become effective!
The class “Coherent Optics“ (CO) has 2 lecture hours (2 x 45 min) per week.
According to the KIS (campus information system) so far the scheduled time slot for this class is: on Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. local time.
According to the current plans this class will be given purely online/"digitally" - at exactly these time slots. But Corona-conditions might force the Physics Department to change the schedule.
You have to register for this class in the KIS! Actually the registration is already possible!
The registration link in KIS is:
The current intention is to give the CO lecture purely online / "digitally" as an OBSTM livestream incorporating a ZOOMTM online meeting and to provide for the recordings in the OLAT environment. The login credentials and the password for everything will be provided (after students' registration for the lecture on KIS) per email to the students' TUK (Technische Universitaet Kaiserslautern) email accounts.
Most of the students, who attend this CO class, will need a ”Certificate of Regular and Active Participation“ afterwards. For these students there will be a comprehension test (a “quiz“) at the end of the lecture period. They have to get at least 50% of the maximum number of points to achieve the certificate.
The lecture notes can be downloaded here right away:
The file can be opened via the same password, which is used for anything in connection to this lecture. The lecture notes are subject to the lecturer's copyright. They are intended for the personal and private use of the students of this lecture only. They may not be copied or forwarded to other persons in any way.
