Final colloquium of the SPP1133 in Irsee, Bavaria

How to reach Irsee: Irsee is located in the south-west of Bavaria. It can be reached by plane via Munich International Airport. From there as well as from Augsburg, Ulm, and Zurich exists a train connection to Kaufbeuren from where the easiest way to come to Irsee is by taxi. Travelling by car take motorway A96 and exit Bad Wörishofen following the direction of Kaufbeuren afterwards. A more detailed map (in German) is available here (03.07.2008) (632 kB).

The colloquium will start with dinner on Monday evening. There will be 14 talks given by invited speakers, 5 talks given by the DFG referees of the priority program as well as 18 talks given by the project leaders within the priority program. In addition, an evening the session with last year's Nobel prize winner Albert Fert will be given. The non-scientific program contains an organ concert on Wednesday evening as well as an excursion to castle Neuschwanstein on Friday afternoon.

Poster presentation: A poster session will be held on Monday evening. The posters must not exceed a size of 1,18 m x 1,46 m (maximum size of the poster tables). A size of 0,841 m x 1,189 m (A0 landscape) is recommended.
