Ashkan Zand has successfully finished his Master's thesis titled "Tracing the difference between single quantum emitters and bulk material of quantum emitters in nanodiamonds by quantum optics". In his work, he used a confocal microscope and a Hanbury-Brown-Twiss interferometer to study the superradiant and non-collective behavior of nitrogen-vacancy centers as single quantum emitters in nanodiamonds. Now he will continue his work in the waveguide lab as a PhD student. We wish you the best of luck!
