On 07.12.2019 the Day of Physics of the Physics Department took place for the twelfth time at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Our group contributed with several projects to make it possible for pupils and others alike to bring fascinating physics closer to interested people. Quantum phenomena such as superconductivity or the trapping and cooling of atoms could be observed and understood live on numerous experimental setups. Even culinary novelties were presented to the visitors - in our AG kitchen ice cream was prepared with the help of liquid nitrogen, a popular classic for years!
