The physics competition of the state Rhineland-Palatinate allows pupils of age 13 to 15 to show their physics skills in solving tricky problems and experimental tasks (https://lw-physik.bildung-rp.de/). . For the thirs time, we could support the organizing team of OStR Heribert Bröhl (Burggymnasium KL) and Anett Fleischhauer (Fachbereich Physik, TU KL) in a preparatory course for the upcoming competition round. The seminar focused on the analysis of measured data and layed the foundations of dealing with measurement errors and uncertainties. We wish all participants much success in the next competition stage, and we are looking forward to seeing everybody again next year.
